We went hiking on Wednesday, my father joined us on the the hike it was a lot of fun. We went up to some lakes above Nederland, Co. The water was icy cold, but still we played in it. Me and some other guys went out on a single person tree bark floater, Of course we got wet. Since it was sunny we got warm again quickly after changing into dry clothes.
After a few weeks of practice our first game is tomorrow. This year I’m in the DNHL and we will be keeping score. I will be on the ice three times this weekend. I will probably be a little tired come Monday school day.

This year I’m playing in the DNHL hockey league. The first practice was yesterday, I’m impressed with the coaches which have been playing hockey practically their whole life. The games start in the beginning of October which gives us time to practice and get the group together. It will be a fun winter months of hockey for sure, we will have to travel to meet other teams and teams will be coming to our home ice too, exciting !
School has started again, it’s great to see the classroom friends again and to be back for another great winter. The theme this year is the human body, we will look at it from all angles. We will be doing more math this year, reading and writing. And we will be reading the Hobbit. I have already seen the movie, I’m excited !
